What do you do?

I’m Anastasia, the indie communicator. I am working towards a world where every entrepreneur feels confident to navigate the complexities of marketing with ease, clarity, and joy. I have experience in brand development, copywriting, graphic design, internal communications and PR. 

As a consultant, I work with small businesses on marketing and brand development. I use my corporate experience to help my clients learn to think strategically about how they develop their brand, and give recommendations on how to continue growing.

I also have content creation skills. My experience in copywriting, graphic design, and videography, allows me to provide content creation services to my clients, if that is what will work best for them. Speak to me about the kind of content you would like to make!

What are Communications?

You may not have heard of the term “Communications” before. But if you own or help run a business, you are probably already doing it.

The area of Communications (aka Comms) incorporates a few principles:

  • Content marketing – your digital marketing strategy.
  • Customer relations – the way you contact new and returning customers.
  • Brand and PR – how you show your business to the world
  • Business development – being resilient to change and planning forward.
  • Campaigning – how you engage with social movements.

Process and Timeline

What is your process?

Pretty standard consultant process! Here are the steps: 

  1. Discovery: Before I start working with you, we will establish exactly what you need to achieve and how we will get there.
  2. Proposal: I will create the scope of our project, based on the needs we identify during Discovery. We will agree on the scope and deadlines of the project. You will be in control of every step of the process.
  3. Agreement: We will sign a service-level agreement before we proceed with our work.
  4. Payment: I normally ask for a 50% deposit of the full service fee. See the section Pricing for more details.
  5. Welcome to the indie communicator: After we are all set to go, I will send you your Welcome Pack.

How long will you work with me?

This largely depends on the scope of the project. I normally work with my clients for 4-6 weeks on individual projects. I also support businesses as a marketing partner, and that usually lasts between 6-12 months. 

When are you available?

You can email me any time. I normally get back to you within a couple of hours. I may take up to 12 hours at busy periods.

Pricing

What is the cost of your services?

My pricing philosophy is that you should be able to afford my services. That is why I am very transparent about my costs, and offer a lot of different options. You can see my popular services here: Services.

I work with small businesses, and I know that budgets can be tight. Please speak to me if you are interested, and we can work out a package that fits your needs.

How do I pay you?

Clients can pay invoices by bank transfer or by online card payment.

What are your payment terms?

I ask my clients to pay me within 15 days of the issue date of my invoice. For some projects, I may require a 50% deposit of the total fee for the project.

Do you offer discounts?

My prices are low by design, but I know that price incentives are attractive.

  • Refer a Friend: If you refer a friend to my services and they start working with me, the will get 10% off the cost of that service. You will get 10% off your next service. 
  • Upgrade Discount: If you decide to work with me again within three months and upgrade your service (for example, go from Starter Pack to Growth Bundle) you will get a 10% discount.
  • VIP Discounts: Join the Work Happy Community to receive updates from me, and you will also receive exclusive offers that are only available to Community members.
  • Partner Programmes: If you are a service provider and our disciplines overlap, contact me to discuss how we could work together. I like to explore opportunities for joint workshops or events, cross-referral, or collaboration. 

All these offers exclude the Starter Pack, which is already dirt cheap.
